Effective October 17, 2026.
This page explains what A2Z Africa collects, why, and the choices you have.
In short
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- To save you retyping, some forms and calculators remember what you entered, using your browser’s local storage on your own device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
What we collect
If you post a tip, comment, rating or vote, we store what you post and show it on the site. Votes are tied to a one-way scrambled code, not your IP address itself, so each visitor counts once.
Routine server logs record visits for security and debugging.
We keep simple counts, such as how often a link is clicked, with no personal details attached.
On your device
To save you retyping, some forms and calculators remember what you entered, using your browser’s local storage on your own device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Cookies, ads and links
Reading the site does not need cookies from us, and we don’t ask you to create an account.
If we turn on analytics or ads, those providers can place cookies to count visits. You can refuse or clear cookies in your browser.
Shopping links can earn us a small fee. The retailer you land on may use its own cookies.
Sharing
We don’t sell your personal information. We only share data with the providers we need to run the site, or if the law makes us.
Your rights
Email privacy@a2zafrica.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. Children under 13 should not send us personal information, and we don’t knowingly keep any. If anything here changes, the new version replaces this page.
